Tall Tales Book Company is a small publisher based in Ojai, California focused on children’s books with an ecological message. This business combines our lifelong love of art, writing, and the environment into one package.
For each book, a portion of the proceeds will benefit a related charity. Our papergoods are made in Ojai and our books are printed and bound in the US—as close to home as possible. We are committed to finding the greenest production and packaging methods available.

No, we believe that printed books are still the best choices for young readers. Spending 20 minutes a day reading books—away from devices and distractions—is an important bonding moment for caregivers and children.
Our books are printed in the United States and our cards are printed in our studio in Ojai, California. We use high-quality linen US cards and envelopes from Red River Paper.
